After Hours Care in Dallas, OR
We have a doctor on call outside of normal business hours on all days except Wednesday and Thursday nights. They can help identify the severity of your pet’s symptoms and make a recommendation for treatment.
Overnight Care
You can never tell when your pet might have an emergency. Just like any member of your family, it is good practice to know where your closest emergency clinic is. Please click the following links to be routed to a small animal or large animal resource list:
Examples of emergencies that should always go to a 24-hour emergency clinic include:
- Respiratory difficulty
- Rapid bleeding that cannot be stopped
- Severe dehydration, lethargy (tiredness), or non-responsiveness
- Traumatic and severe injuries
- Any surgery that needs to happen after-hours or over the weekend
Remember; if your pet may be difficult to stabilize, it is best that they are seen at a clinic that may be able to hospitalize them with intensive monitoring and constant care for an extended period (over 24 hours). If our doctors deem that your pet has a more severe emergency, we will provide you with information for referral.
